LaLiga Santander: RC Celta de Vigo presents the development project for the club's new sports city

"The board of directors of Real Club Celta de Vigo (LaLiga Santander) has designated Irisarri and Piñera's (architectural firm based in Vigo, Galicia) project for the development of the club's new sports city in Mos (located less than 20 kilometers from Vigo)," said RC Celta de Vigo on 11/05/2018.

The new sports complex, whose construction is part of a wider project that also includes the renovation of the Estadio de Balaídos (29,000 capacity) and the installation of a shopping centre, will include a stadium with 4,000 seats, eight football pitches (4 natural grass and 4 artificial grass), a dozen changing rooms, a swimming pool, two gymnasiums, an auditorium and studios for Celta Media. Work should begin at the end of 2018.

"The Irisarri and Piñera project fulfills RC Celta's expectations of developing a functional and modern sports city, respectful to the environment and with ample capacity to satisfy in a brilliant way, the needs of the youth players and those of the first team," added the Galician club.
