Eredivisie: Feyenoord Rotterdam to open football schools in the United Arab Emirates in 2018-19

Feyenoord Rotterdam (Eredivisie) have signed a partnership agreement with Talent Group to open several football schools in the United Arab Emirates in 2018-19, according to the club on 07/05/2018.

The aim of this partnership is to establish academies of the Rotterdam (NED) club in several emirates (the United Arab Emirates are seven in number: Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Sharjah, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah and Oumm al Quwain). The first will open in Dubai.

"Currently, there are already eight Feyenoord Football Schools in the North African country in which over 1250 children participate. Under the new agreement, Feyenoord coaches will now also travel to the United Arab Emirates a couple of times per year to train local coaches there and teach them the training methods used at the Feyenoord Academy in Rotterdam," added the Dutch club.
