Premier League: Denise Barrett-Baxendale appointed CEO of Everton FC (effective 01/06/2018)

Denise Barrett-Baxendale has been appointed CEO of Everton FC (Premier League) effective 01/06/2018, reported the Liverpool (ENG) club on 15/05/2018.

Denise Barrett-Baxendale joined Everton FC in 2010 and has served as deputy chief executive of the club since June 2013. In this role, she has been responsible for the following areas: "human resources, marketing and media, legal, risk and governance, operations and ticketing," said Everton FC.

"I am so proud to be given this opportunity and grateful for the support of the chairman, board of directors and Mr Moshiri (majority shareholder of the club). I fully understand the privileged position that I will be taking up and the responsibilities that come with it.
