2018 World Cup: Perform (DAZN) acquires the rights to highlights of the 64 matches for Germany

Perform, a UK-based group specialised in the production and distribution of sports content on digital platforms has acquired, for its OTT platform DAZN, the rights to match highlights of the 64 matches of the 2018 World Cup for Germany, sub-licensed to the audiovisual groups ARD and ZDF, on 18/05/2018. DAZN will broadcast the match highlights "45 minutes after the final whistle," said DAZN.

The private pay-TV group Sport1 acquired the same rights for its digital media platforms on 09/05/2018.

Public broadcasting groups ARD and ZDF acquired the broadcast rights for Germany, of the 2018 World Cup for an estimated €200m in April 2012.
