Premier League: adidas becomes the "Official Technical Kit Partner" of Leicester City from 2018-19

The German brand adidas will succeed Puma as the "Official Technical Kit Partner" of Leicester City FC (Premier League) from 2018-19, announced the English club on 16/05/2018. Neither the duration nor the value of the contract have been communicated.

Puma has been the kit supplier of the Foxes since 2012-13, initially until 2014-15. The contract was extended for three seasons on 21/05/2015. The annual value of the contract paid by Puma to the English club was estimated at £5m in 2016-17 (€6m as of 14/09/2016), following the Premier League title won the previous season, and £1m in 2017-18 (€1.1m on 31/08/2017).

Puma was the most represented Premier League equipment supplier in 2017-18, with five clubs under contract (see below). While both Huddersfield Town AFC (Umbro, 2018-2022) and Leicester City will not be continuing their contracts with Puma in 2018-19, Crystal Palace FC will be represented by the German brand. adidas will have four clubs under contract in 2018-19: Manchester United FC, Watford FC, Leicester City FC, and Wolverhampton Wanderers FC (2018-2022), the latter were…
