Adidas: CEO Herbert Hainer plans to rejuvenate the group's board

"We do not need revolutionary change, but I want to prepare Adidas for a new generation," said Herbert Hainer, CEO of Adidas, on the 22/11/2013. The objective of the leader is to gradually rejuvenate the group's board.

In spring 2014, Herbert Hainer will start working on Adidas' new strategic plan for 2020, while thinking about the future of his staff. According to the German magazine "Manager Magazin", it is for this reason that Roland Auschel, born in 1963, was promoted to the board of Adidas as head of global sales, on the 01/10/2013.

In 2014, the five members of the Adidas board will all be over 50 years old, and Herbert Hainer, meanwhile, will turn 60.
