Ligue 1 Conforama: Gilles Sergent succeeds J-François Fortin as president of the board of SM Caen

Gilles Sergent (58 years old) has been elected president of the management board of SM Caen (Ligue 1 Conforama) after the end of the general assembly of the club's SASP (sports limited company), according to the French club on 21/05/2018.

A historical SM Caen shareholder, Gilles Sergent, director of the Recréa group (aquatic centres) and chair of MEDEF (Movement of the Enterprises of France) Normandie, was until now president of the supervisory board of the club. He will succeed Jean-François Fortin, who has been president of SM Caen since 2002.

In addition to Gilles Sergent, the new board of SM Caen is composed of Jean-Marie Piranda, Jacky Rihouet, Fabrice Clément and Jean-Yves Mercier.
