LaLiga Santander: Levante UD presents its sports city project, due to cost an estimated €11m - €14m

Levante Union Deportiva (LaLiga Santander) has announced its intention to build a new sports city in the district of Nazaret, near the port of Valencia (ESP) on 14/05/2018. "Over the next few weeks Levante UD will begin the process of obtaining permission from the Valencia Port Authority (the body and owner of the plot of land in question) for the construction," said Levante, who will make an estimated investment of between €11m and €14m.

The sports city which will span an area of over 99,000m2 will include a residence which will accommodate 100 players, a small 3,000 capacity stadium, 6 football fields, a medical center, as well as the club and training centre offices.

"Levante UD intends the new Training Ground to become a top level complex aimed at high performance sport for our teams so that they may benefit from higher quality and modern techniques in all aspects of their training, give the youth teams a push to place them among the best at national level, and become a testimonial to the educational aspects that complement the players' training," added Levante UD.
