LaLiga Santander: Nike succeeds New Balance as kit supplier to Sevilla FC (2018-2021)

The American brand Nike has become the kit supplier of Sevilla FC (LaLiga Santander) on 21/05/2018. The partnership will run from 2018-2021, a duration of three seasons.

Nike has the status of global partner, the first level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the Andalusian club. "It will be the first time in 128 years of club history that Sevilla FC will wear Nike products," said Sevilla FC.

Nike succeeds its American counterpart New Balance, the equipment supplier to Sevilla FC for the 2015-2018 cycle, after having taken over the contract of its brand Warrior Sport (2013-2015). New Balance paid an estimated €3.5m annually to Sevilla FC over the 2015-2018 cycle.

Nike will pay the Andalusian club a fixed sum of €2m per season, plus incentives and bonuses based on sporting results, according to Spanish media. Nike is the equipment supplier of three LaLiga Santander clubs in 2017-18: FC Barcelona, Club Atlético de Madrid, and Malaga CF, the latter have been relegated to LaLiga 1|2|3.
