UEFA: adidas extends partnership as the official match ball of the Champions League for 2018-2021

The German sports equipment manufacturer adidas has extended its partnership with UEFA as the official match ball provider of the Champions League for the 2018-2021 cycle, according to adidas and UEFA on 22/05/2018. "The agreement also covers the right to supply the official match balls for the UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Youth League and UEFA Futsal Champions League," added UEFA.

adidas has been the official ball supplier to UEFA club competitions (Champions League, Europa League, Super Cup, Women's Champions League, Youth League, and Futsal Cup) since 2001. In December 2011, adidas renewed its partnership with the governing body of European football until the end of the 2017-18 season.

The Japanese equipment manufacturer Molten will be the official Europa League ball supplier for the 2018-2021 cycle, according to UEFA on 23/10/2017. This is the first time that the Japanese brand has collaborated with UEFA.
