2017-18 Ligue 1 Conforama: a cumulative TV audience of at least 112.3 million subscribers (+25%)

At least 112.3 million cumulative viewers watched the matches of the 2017-18 Ligue 1 Conforama season on the channels of the pay-TV groups Canal+ and beIN Sports, according to data from from the audience measurement institute Médiamétrie. This figure represented a 25% increase over the 2016-17 season. Given beIN Sports channel's audience measurement system (see below), only figures from Matchday 5 to Matchday 25 have been taken into account.

On Canal+, the 33 matches broadcast on Sunday evening at 21:00 averaged 1.383 million viewers (+23.7%). Matches on Saturdays at 17:00 CET, broadcast on Canal+ Sport in 2016-17 but on Canal+ in 2017-18, drew an average of 761,000 subscribers (+43.3%), and matches on Fridays at 20:45, broadcast on Canal+ Sport drew 468,000 subscribers (+0.4%).

On beIN Sports 1, matches on Sunday at 17:00 CET drew on average 372,000 subscribers (+21.6%), and matches on Sunday at 15:00 drew 292,000 subscribers (+15.4%). The multiplex (five games) on Saturday at 20:00, also broadcast on beIN Sports 1, drew an average of 202,000 subscribers (+11%).
