Sport Executive Club: "In the aquisition of clubs, money is not enough anymore" (D. Poulmaire)

"There is an undeniable evolution in the nature and scope of buy-sell operations of clubs. New owners must not only have significant resources, but quickly hire effective management, able to best balance the social accounts of the club. This is, in my opinion, a very positive development. Money is not enough anymore. They (new buyers) must show managerial qualities, to be able to anticipate and deploy profitable commercial strategies," explained Didier Poulmaire, who has been involved in a large number of club sales operations, including Olympique de Marseille to the American Frank McCourt, to News Tank Football on 25/05/2018.
