"A two-speed market is starting to develop in France, in much the same way as the football league does," explained to NTF Christophe Rousseau, founder of Troisième Ligne, an agency specialising in brand management, licensing and sports merchandising, on 04/11/2013.

"We must differentiate between a sports marketing contract, where the relationship is that of a conventional sponsor with a financial amount, services and visibility in the TV field, and a team sports contract, which relates primarily to equipment endorsement, where entering the market is cheaper," said Christophe Rousseau.
