2018 World Cup: Coca-Cola launches the "Are you Ready?" communication campaign

The US beverage manufacturer The Coca-Cola Company has launched "Are you Ready?", a global communication campaign for the 2018 World Cup on 25/05/2018.

The TV advertisement invites fans, with the title "Are you Ready?", and featuring the same words as lyrics from the Australian rock band AC/DC, "to get ready for the beginning of the most watched event in the world," said the brand.

The film, directed by the Argentinian advertising agency Mercado McCann, features supporters stocking up on Coca-Cola in order to fully appreciate the game in front of their televisions, while a match had begun. The message "You had four years, ready for kick-off with Coca-Cola?" concludes the advert.

  • Coca-Cola is a FIFA Fédération Internationale de Football Association Partner, the first level in the sponsorship hierarchy of World Cup and the international body, until 2030.
  • The brand is also a partner of numerous national associations that have qualified for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
