Serie A 2018-2021 TV rights: conditions for the private negotiations (attribution on 13/06/2018)

The Lega Serie A communicated the conditions for the private negotiations for the bidding on the domestic audiovisual rights of Serie A, for the period 2018-2021, on 31/05/2018, after having broken -- via the unanimous decision of its clubs -- the contract for the attribution of these rights to the Chinese-Spanish group Mediapro on 28/05/2018.

These negotiations will take place in three phases: the Italian League will first propose several configurations of lots to broadcasters, on 05/06/2018 at 13:00 CET at the latest; then it will communicate the lots, with the floor price, on 08/06/2018 at 18:00 CET at the latest; and finally it will award the lots, totally or partially, on 13/06/2018.

The eight time slots of the games of a standard matchday of the 2018-2021 Serie A are the following:
• 1 game on Saturday at 15:00 CET
• 1 game on Saturday at 18:00
• 1 game on Saturday at 20:30
• 1 game on Sunday at 12:30
• 3 games on Sunday at 15:00
• 1 game on Sunday at 18:00
• 1 game on Sunday at 20:30
• 1 game on Monday at 20:30
