Schalke 04: board member Alexander Jobst extends contract as marketing director until 2024

Alexander Jobst, member of the managing board in charge of marketing of FC Schalke 04 (Bundesliga), has extended his contract with the club until 2024, announced the Gelsenkirchen club on 03/06/2018, during the Schalke 04 2018 annual general assembly.

"Since his arrival at Schalke in 2011, the brand value of the "Königsblauen" ("Royal Blues") has grown enormously: from €95m upon taking office to €315m in 2017. This increase make S04 15th in the ranking of the world's most valuable football brands. The marketing revenue of the 2017-18 Bundesliga runner-up also increased significantly under Jobst: more than €96m from sponsorship and merchandising will be acheived in 2018," stated Schalke 04 in a press release.
