RC Celta de Vigo: ABANCA (bank) extends partnership and gains stadium naming rights of the club

The Spanish bank ABANCA has extended its partnership with RC Celta de Vigo (LaLiga Santander) for 10 seasons (2018-2028), on 04/06/2018. The agreement makes ABANCA a main partner of Celta de Vigo, the first level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the Galician club.

As part of the partnership, ABANCA will gain the naming rights of Celta de Vigo's stadium the Estadio Municipal de Balaídos (29,000 capacity), which will be named the ABANCA Balaídos from 2018-19.

The bank, with headquarters near A Coruña, is also a back-of-the-shirt sponsor, training kit and warm-up kit sponsor of Celta de Vigo. The brand will also gain additional visibility on signage and screens at the stadium and training center, on the team bus, as well as on the various communication platforms of the Galician club.

ABANCA was the back-of-the-shorts sponsor of Celta de Vigo during the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons.
