Serie A TIM: two types of lots for the 2018-2021 TV rights and a floor price of €1.1bn per season

The Lega Serie A, which broke the contract that awarded Mediapro the domestic audiovisual rights to the Serie A for the 2018-2021 period, has published the terms of the private negotiations, as well as the two types of lots (by platform and by product) for the awarding of these rights, on 05/06/2018.

The platform configuration includes eight main lots (two for satellite, two for the free-TV, two for OTT, and two for IPTV) and two optional lots. The primary product configuration consists of three main lots and two optional ones. The overall, cumulative floor price for the lots is €1.1bn per season, regardless of configuration.

The Lega Serie A will communicate the definitive lots, with individual floor prices, on Friday 08/06/2018 at 18:00 CET at the latest, then it will allocate the lots, totally or partially, on Wednesday 13/06/2018.
