France: LOSC Lille maintain Ligue 1 status after audit, payroll and transfer payments monitored

"Supervision of the payroll and scheduled transfer payments" is the decision made with regard to LOSC Lille (Ligue 1 Conforama) by the DNCG (French professional football financial control) within the framework of the audit and examination of the situation of the club for the 2018-19 season, on 05/06/2018.

"At the end of the hearing of 12/12/2017, the DNCG decided to prohibit LOSC from transfer recruitment, and this measure was accompanied by explicit requirements on the club. At the latest hearing (on 29/05/2018), the committee considered the replies provided by the principal shareholder, (which) are in line with the requirements that had been expressed, therefore the committee decided to confirm the continuation of LOSC in Ligue 1," stated Jean-Marc Mickeler, president of the DNCG, on 05/06/2018.
