The 48 clubs competing in the 2018-19 Europa League group stage will share €560m, according to UEFA on 06/06/2018. "The gross commercial revenue from the 2018-19 UEFA Champions League, the 2018-19 UEFA Europa League and the 2018 UEFA Super Cup is estimated at around €3.25bn," said UEFA, an increase of 41.3% compared to the 2017-18 season (€2.3bn), which was the last of the 2015-2018 business cycle.

"Of the estimated gross amount of €3.25bn, €295m will be deducted to cover organisational costs relating to the competitions, and 7% (€227.5m) will be set aside for solidarity payments. Of the resulting net revenue of €2.73bn, 6.5% (€177.5m) will be reserved for European football and remain with UEFA, and the other 93.5% (€2.55bn) will be distributed to the participating clubs," added UEFA.

Breakdown of the €2.55bn (+48.3% compared to €1.72bn in 2017-18):
• €2.04bn for clubs competing in the Champions League and Super Cup (+54.5% compared to €1.32bn in 2017-18).
• €510m for clubs participating in the Europa League (+27.5% compared to €399.8m in 2017-18).
