Twitter: 75.1 million followers in total for the 20 Premier League clubs (June 2018)

The 20 clubs involved in the 2017-18 Premier League season have a cumulative 75.1 million followers on the social network Twitter, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/06/2018. The Premier League ranks first in the European Top 5, with an average of 3.757 million followers per club.

No Premier League club experienced a drop in followers during May 2018 unlike in the other European Top 5 leagues (4 out of 20 in LaLiga Santander, 17 out of 20 in the Serie A TIM, 18 out of 20 in the Ligue 1 Conforama, 18 out of 18 in the Bundesliga).

Liverpool FC, the fourth most-followed English club on Twitter, posted the best growth in absolute value (+138,921 followers) and Huddersfield Town AFC, twentieth and last, the best percentage growth (+2.1%) during the month of May 2018.
