2013-14 Ligue 1 official balls: Adidas for L1, Uhlsport for L2

Adidas and the Professional Football League (LFP) presented the new ball for the Ligue 1 2013-14 season on the 27/05/2013. Another German supplier, Uhlsport, three days earlier presented the official ball for Ligue 2, which will also be used in the League Cup.

It is Adidas' second year supplying Ligue 1. The group committed in 2012 for a period of 5 years, while Uhlsport did the same for Ligue 2, until 2017.

The new official Ligue 1 ball was used for the first time on the 03/08/2013, in the Champions Trophy, which was held in Libreville (Gabon) and saw Paris Saint-Germain, league champions, play Bordeaux, winners of the Coupe de France. Paris-SG won 2-1.
