Netherlands: Adidas to supply Feyenoord for five seasons, from 2014-15

Adidas will become the kit supplier to Feyenoord (Netherlands) from the 2014-15 season, the Rotterdam club announced, on the 05/09/2013. The five-year agreement will expire at the end of the 2018-19 championship. Adidas previously worked with the club from 1991 to 2000.

For the 2013-14 season, Feyenoord are contracted to the German supplier Puma, majority owned by the French group Kering.

Adidas’ arrival coincides with a new distribution model for replica kit at Feyenoord. From the summer of 2014 all branded apparel will only be available through the club’s official sales channels, be they the club shop or online store. "The advantage of this new way of working is that we have full control of distribution, which has a lot of value for the club. Given the developments in retail, this is the future," said Mark Koevermans, commercial director of the club.
