The Premier League clubs have reached an agreement, in the case of an increase in revenue, for the distribution of additional revenue from the international audiovisual rights of the league, starting from the 2019-20 season, announced the league on 07/06/2018.

Revenues from international audiovisual rights are currently redistributed equally among the Premier League clubs. This will also be the case from the 2019-20 season, however, any additional revenue will be distributed according to the club's ranking in the league table.

"When total central revenues (domestic, international audiovisual rights and commercial rights) were distributed in 2017-18, the ratio between the maximum and minimum a club received was 1.6:1 - the highest-earning club received 1.6 times the amount received by the lowest-earning club. The new formula for sharing any future increase in international revenues caps the ratio at 1.8:1," said the Premier League.

The distribution of domestic audiovisual rights revenue will remain the same, "50% of which is shared equally between clubs and 25% each of prize money…
