FIFA launch official app for smartphones and tablets

FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) announced the launch of their official app, on the 27/11/2013. The app, which is available for free on iOS and Android, can follow live results in 85 leagues throughout the world, via the "World Match Centre". Users can personalise their navigation to show only their favorite competitions or the results of their favorite clubs. Rankings, standings and scorers in 197 first divisions of the world are also updated.

The official FIFA app also covers all competitions organised by the international body. Therefore, users can follow the draw for the finals of the 2014 World Cup, on the 06/12/2013. The app will provide an updated schedule of matches in the World Cup and give profiles of the teams participating in the tournament, which runs from the 12/06 to 13/07/2014.

The official FIFA app is available to download for free in 5 languages: English, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese.
