LaLiga Santander: RCD Espanyol opens an academy in Los Angeles (USA), their seventh outside of Spain

The Reial Club Deportiu Espanyol de Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) have opened a third RCDE Academy in the United States, in Los Angeles (California), under a three-year contract with Galpox LLX, already a partner of the RCDE Academy in Miami (Florida), announced the Catalan club on 08/06/2018.

"The club will start the RCDE Academy Los Angeles on the next sports year, although from 18/06/2018 to 03/08/2018, training camps will be organised. Los Angeles training center will also offer activities such as clinics, academic scholarships and access to foreign players in the West Coast Universities from the United States," said Espanyol.

The academy, which will operate in the city of Carson (Los Angeles County, California) is their seventh outside of Spain along with those in Ajman (United Arab Emirates), Algiers (Algeria), Saitama (Japan), New Jersey (United States), Miami (United States) and Baghdad (Iraq). RCD Espanyol also inaugurated an academy for young Chinese and Asian players in Sabadell (near Barcelona, ESP), in partnership with the Chinese club HLK Football Club on 14/06/2017.
