2018 World Cup: beIN Sports France launches 4K channel in partnership with Orange and Canal+

The pay-TV group beIN Sports France has launched beIN Sports 1 4K, an ultra-high definition channel, for the 2018 World Cup, from 14/06 to 15/07/2018, announced the group on 14/06/2018. 

According to beIN Sports, with a 4K UHD compatible TV, this channel will be accessible to:
• "beIN Sports Sports subscribers by Canal+ equipped with the new Canal 4K ultra HD decoder or Apple TV 4K on channel 18.
• beIN Sports subscribers via Orange fiber equipped with a TV4 decoder on the Canal 48 channel."

beIN Sports France broadcasts all 64 matches of the 2018 World Cup. 56 of these 64 matches will be available in 4K, given the scheduling of the last day of the group stage (the last two matches of each group are scheduled at the same time).
