LaLiga: Hyundai (car manufacturer, KOR), becomes sleeve sponsor of Atlético de Madrid for 2018-2021

The South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai has become the official sleeve sponsor of Club Atlético de Madrid (LaLiga Santander) for a duration of three seasons from 2018-2021, on 13/06/2018. The value of the agreement would be at least €3m per season according to Spanish media.

The partnership concerns Atlético de Madrid's men's and women's first teams and applies to all domestic competitions. Hyundai gains the status of "Global automotive partner", the second level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the Spanish club. Hyundai succeeds Alfa Romeo (2017-18 season) via the car manufacturer Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Spain, as Atlético's automotive partner.

"With this partnership, Hyundai will not only be visible on the shirt but also through a fleet of Hyundai cars provided to the club, a home matchday presence including LED perimeter branding (at the Wanda Metropolitano, 67,000 capacity), and various media and digital content rights.
