European Top 5 leagues: the 98 clubs of the 2018-19 first division leagues have been decided

The 98 clubs that will take part in the 2018-19 European Top 5 leagues (18 in the Bundesliga and 20 in LaLiga Santander, the Ligue 1 Conforama, the Premier League and Serie A) have been decided, after the last play-off matches of LaLiga 1|2|3 (ESP) and the Serie B ConTe.it (ITA) played on Saturday 16/06/2018. In total, 13 clubs join the European top 5 elite.

• Spain: Real Valladolid Club de Fútbol join LaLiga Santander after victory versus CD Numancia (1-1, 3-0 first leg) in the promotion play-offs on 13 and 16/06/2018. Rayo Vallecano de Madrid, champions of LaLiga 1|2|3, and SD Huesca are the two other Spanish clubs to be promoted to the Spanish first division.

• Italy: Frosinone Calcio join the Serie A following their victory versus US Palermo (2-0, 1-2 first leg), on 13 and 16/06/2018. Empoli FC, the Serie B ConTe.it champions and Parma Calcio 1913 have also been promoted.

• Germany: Fortuna Düsseldorf, 2.Bundesliga champions and 1. FC Nuremberg will play in the 2018-19 Bundesliga season.
