Manchester United (Premier League, ENG) have entered into a distribution agreement for their television channel MUTV, with South Korea's local pay-TV channel SPOTV, announced the club on the 12/02/2013. The agreement, for a period of three years, will run from 2013-2016.

"This partnership with SPOTV represents a fantastic opportunity for Manchester United’s 15 million followers in Korea to further engage with the club. Through our partnership with SPOTV our fans can access MUTV and experience behind-the-scenes footage, exclusive interviews as well as live match commentary," said Richard Arnold, group managing director of Manchester United.

"We are delighted to be joining with Manchester United to provide exclusive content and access from the club, directly to our customers in Korea. The club has a huge following in the country and this partnership with MUTV will provide exciting content from the one of the biggest sports organisations in the world," said Mitch Hong, CEO of Eclat Entertainment, the media and marketing rights agency who own SPOTV.
