Atlético Madrid: 97.7% of socios renew season tickets for second season at the Wanda Metropolitano

97.7% of Club Atlético de Madrid's (LaLiga Santander) 2017-18 socios have renewed their season tickets for the 2018-19 season, announced the club, at the end of its re-subscription campaign, on 18/06/2018. The club had 56,407 season ticket holders in 2017-18, the club's first season played in their new stadium, the Wanda Metropolitano (68,000 capacity).

"During the second half of July, new season ticket holders will be chosen from those on the waiting list, but it will be impossible to respond to all requests, since we have already received more than 20,000," said the club.

In total, Atlético de Madrid has 122,190 socios, of whom 65,783 are "non-season ticket holder socios", who benefit from various advantages (free tickets, discounts, priority for certain matches) in exchange for their membership.
