MLS: Los Angeles FC sells match tickets via Snapchat with partner SeatGeek

Los Angeles FC (MLS) sold 20 tickets for their match versus DC United (1-1, 26/05/2018) via the social network Snapchat, according to the club on 23/05/2018. The club offered a 50% discount for these tickets. "The purchase process is simple. Open Snapchat, take a picture of this code, and you'll be automatically directed to the Seatgeek ticket window," said the club. The American ticketing platform SeatGeek became the official ticketing platform of LAFC on 18/12/2017.

"The offering is another innovative and creative way LAFC is giving fans opportunities to experience the atmosphere inside Banc of California Stadium for themselves. While the integration of SeatGeek directly into Snapchat lets fans purchase tickets without ever having to leave the app," added the club.

"LAFC will take advantage of the SeatGeek Enterprise platform, which introduces a cutting-edge approach in the world of ticketing.
