LaLiga Santander: RCD Espanyol increases its 2018-19 season ticket prices by €50 (on average)

Reial Club Deportiu Espanyol de Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) has launched its 2018-19 season ticket campaign for fans to attend the 19 Spanish league games at the RCDE Stadium (40,500 capacity) in Cornellà y El Prat de Llobregat (ESP) with prices between €300 and €1,300 (excluding discounts) on 18/06/2018.

Season ticket prices for 2018-19 are up sharply compared to in 2017-18, with an average increase of €50 per subscription, depending on the club. "We have not increased fares in recent years. The club took over and we had to do it some point. It should not be seen as a negative, but rather as something that everyone would do if they were in my place; it had to be done," said Roger Guasch, CEO of RCD Espanyol.

With this new pricing policy, which is accompanied by a new seating sector system, the Catalan club plans to increase season ticket revenues, which amounted to €7.17m in 2016 -17, by €1m.
