Africa: Perform and Kwesé to "increase live content delivery to millions of fans across Africa"

Perform Group, a British group specialised in the production and distribution of sports content on digital platforms, and Kwesé TV, a subsidiary of the South African audiovisual group Econet Media, have announced a partnership with the intent to "build on the existing Perform Sports Cloud infrastructure to enhance and increase live content delivery to millions of fans across Africa," said Perform on 20/06/2018.

As part of the partnership "Perform will be responsible for the delivery of all 64 FIFA World Cup matches across Kwesé channels, with production services, including multi-language commentary, to be broadcast live across Kwesé sub-licensee channels. Content in this new Sports Cloud delivery includes notable events in the sporting calendar, such as the IAAF World U20 championships, FIFA Women's U20 World Cup, Ligue 1 and UEFA's Nations League," added the British group.
