France: LFP presents "Ligue 1: the new era", 90-minute film to sell French football internationally

"It's a movie, it's not just a documentary. We wanted to present the spetacle of Ligue 1, the emotion, the suspense, the stars of Ligue 1. This is to promote the image of our championship in France and abroad, it serves to show the spectacular side, the beautiful atmosphere in our stadiums, the training policy, this is important, there is a big focus on it," explained to News Tank Football Didier Quillot, CEO of the LFP, about "Ligue 1: the new era", a 90-minute film previewed in Paris (FRA) on 20/06/2018.

"There is a passage that I find very moving about referees and their work. There is a focus on our big stars: Falcao (AS Monaco), Neymar (Paris SG), Mbappé (Paris SG), Luiz Gustavo (Olympic de Marseille), Depay (Olympique Lyonnais)... We see beautiful goals. Nice speeches from coaches too: the speech of Rudi Garcia at the end of the last match of Marseille is a very nice speech, the coach of Amiens (Christophe Pélissier) also... No one is forgotten: the spectators, the players, the coaches, the referees, the presidents of clubs," added Didier Quillot.
