Bundesliga: Henkel (domestic consumer goods) shirt sponsor of Fortuna Düsseldorf (2018-2020)

Henkel, a German manufacturer of domestic consumer products (detergents and cleaning products, adhesives, and hygiene products), has become the main shirt sponsor of Fortuna Düsseldorf, promoted to the Bundesliga for the 2018-19 season, on 21/06/2018.

The partnership, which covers a duration of two seasons (2018-2020), makes Henkel a first level partner of the club in Düsseldorf, the city where the German group's head office is located. As part of the agreement, Henkel will benefit from advertising board and visibility devices inside and outside the ESPRIT arena (54,600 capacity), as well as priority on a contingent of tickets (for its employees) during each home match.

Henkel was the main sponsor sponsor of Fortuna Düsseldorf during the 1998-2001 cycle. Since 2010-11, the group has been a premium partner of the club, the second level in its sponsorship hierarchy. For the 2018-2020 cycle and its shirt sponsorship, Henkel will pay €3m per season to Fortuna, according to German media.
