Instagram: launch of IGTV, application for long format videos (maximum one hour)

Facebook's social media and photo sharing application (since 10/04/2012) Instagram, has announced that it has reached one billion monthly users worldwide and is launching a new video application, IGTV, on 20/06/2018.

This application has been available on Android and iOS (Apple) platforms since 20/06/2018. "IGTV, a new app for watching long-form, vertical video," said Instagram on 20/06/2018.

The app allows you to watch and record videos in a long format of up to an hour compared to a single minute on Instagram. This is a new platform for amateur videographers and professionals, like YouTube or Dailymotion.
