Twitch: American publisher Riot Games is the first channel to exceed one billion views

The main channel of the US publisher Riot Games, on the video game streaming platform Twitch, has become the first channel to exceed one billion views, on 26/06/2018.

Riot Games notably broadcasts its flagship video game "League of Legends" on its eSports competitions channel.

The US publisher also said on 14/06/2018, that "60 million unique viewers watched the finals" of the "Mid-Season Invitational" tournament on the League of Legends game, played on 20/05/2018. These finals were "streamed in 15+ languages, across 14 digital platforms and broadcast on 2 television channels," according to the website lolesports.com (League of Legends esports).
