2. Bundesliga: Dirk Kall, new president of the board of Fortuna Düsseldorf

Dirk Kall has been named president of the board of Fortuna Düsseldorf (2. Bundesliga, Germany's second division) by the supervisory board of the club, on the 03/12/2013. He succeeds Peter Frymuth, who was in office since 2004. Dirk Kall will officially take office on the 01/02/2014.

"I am eager to start the new job as president of the board. With all my future colleagues in the administration, but also with members of the club's staff, we will gradually improve the organisation," said Dirk Kall, on the 03/12/2013.

Kall has been president of the supervisory board of Fortuna Düsseldorf since May 2005. Upon being appointed president of the board, he resigned from his former position. The supervisory board of the club will meet before the 25/12/2013 to choose his successor.

Fortuna Düsseldorf finished second last in the Bundesliga 2012-13 season, and were relegated to 2.Bundesliga for 2013-14.
