FIFA Foundation Festival: football tournament and award ceremony at the Red Square on 30/06/2018

A football tournament and award ceremony organised in the Red Square is the highlight of the FIFA Foundation Festival in Moscow (RUS) from 23/06 until 03/07/2018.

The Festival, scheduled alongisde the 2018 World Cup, "brings 48 non-governmental organisations together from 38 countries that work year-round to make a positive difference through football. They include Street Soccer USA, Sport Against Racism Ireland, Single Leg Amputee Sports Association from Sierra Leone and Downside Up Charity who helps improve the quality of life for Russian children with down syndrome, to name a few," said FIFA on 23/06/2018.

The football tournament is inspired by the "football3" concept, a game of three halves and no referee. "Mixed gender teams decide the rules before they play and then come together at the final whistle to reflect on their behaviour, with points awarded not only for goals but also fair play," said the International federation.
