Brazil 2014: composition of the four pots for the draw, on the 06/12/2013

FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) announced on the 03/12/2013, the composition of the pots for the draw for the eight groups of the 2014 World Cup, to be held on the 06/12/2013 in the State of Bahia, Brazil.

Pot 4 includes the nine unseeded European teams. One of them will be drawn on the 06/12/2013 and join pot 2, which includes the five African teams, and two unseeded South American teams (Chile and Ecuador).

The draw will determine the composition of the eight groups of four teams contesting the first phase of the World Cup from the 12 to the 26/12/2014. The first two from each group will qualify for the knockout stages of the competition.
