Formula 1: Amazon Web Services becomes an official provider for "enhancing the viewing experience"

Amazon Web Services, a subsidiary of the US e-commerce group, has become an official provider of Formula 1's cloud computing, announced the two entities on 29/06/2018.

The two groups will work together to improve "racing strategies, data tracking system, digital broadcasts (...)" as well as "enhancing the viewing experience for its 500 million plus fans worldwide." Amazon Web Services "will change the way fans and teams enjoy, experience, and participate in racing," said Formula One.

Formula 1 will also be able to "extract critical race performance statistics to make race predictions and give fans insight into the split-second decisions and strategies adopted by teams and drivers," said Formula One.
