Ligue 1 Conforama: training partnership between OGC Nice and RC Abidjan (CIV)

"OGC Nice (Ligue 1 Conforama) is proud to announce the signing of a partnership with Racing Club Abidjan (Ligue 1, Ivory Coast). In the context of its internationalisation, the club is now associated with one of the most renowned Ivorian academies," announced the French club on 30/06/2018.

This partnership focuses on the development and training of young players. Specifically, the club "will benefit from a first option on all of the best Racing players. From their side of things, the young Ivorians will be able 'to continue and finish their preparation with a solid and reliable European partner, who doesn't hesitate to put its confidence in youngsters and has an ideal environment', according to Souleymane Cissé (founder and president of RC Abidjan)," added OGC Nice.

As part of the partnership, the president of RC Abidjan, Souleymane Cisse, joins the OGC Nice as a recruiter responsible for the entire African continent. "This summer, a first Racing trained player will join the club's academy and take his place in the Reserve team," said the French club.
