TV Rights: "LaLiga continues to take steps to denounce the pirate channel beoutQ" (LaLiga)

"LaLiga continues to take steps with various other international rights holders to denounce beoutQ, a pirate channel that illegally distributes copyrighted content, including LaLiga, throughout the Middle East and North Africa," said the Spanish professional league on 04/07/2018.

"Protecting our product is fundamental to our business. We cannot permit pirate channels to offer access to LaLiga programming. We are fully investigating beoutQ and taking proper actions against this illegal platform and its enablers to stop the pirating of our competition," added Melcior Soler, director of audiovisual at LaLiga.

"LaLiga has contributed to numerous piracy cases prosecuted by Spanish law enforcement, including the take down of Rojadirecta, a large online piracy site," announced LaLiga, which claims to lose €400m per year because of piracy.
