The bidding for the broadcast rights in Myanmar, for the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Super Cup for the period 2015-2018, was launched by UEFA (Union of European Football Associations), on the 03/12/2013.

The broadcast rights will run for three seasons of the Champions League and the Europa League from 2015-16 to 2017-18, and will cover four editions of the annual Super Cup match between the winners of the previous year’s Champions League and Europa League, from 2015 to 2018.

Media content rights will be offered on a platform neutral basis. Such an approach means that successful bidders can exploit rights across all media platforms including television, Internet and mobile on a linear and on-demand basis. "This platform neutral approach is aimed at ensuring maximum exposure while providing partners with programming flexibility in parallel", according to UEFA.

Broadcasters must submit their bids to Team Marketing, the agency that manages and markets the TV rights for UEFA club competitions, by the 07/01/2014.
