Italy: public broadcaster Rai acquires rights to the Primavera U-21 championship

The Italian public broadcaster RAI (Radiotelevisione Italiana) have acquired the rights to broadcast the Primavera TIM U-21 championship, also called "Trophy Giacinto Facchetti" for the seasons 2013-14 and 2014-15, announced the Serie A, on the 03/12/2013.

The tender, which was launched on the 22/11/2013, expired on the 02/12/2013 at 12:00 CET. The Primavera ("Spring" in Italian) championship is a competition for players from 15 to 21 years of age.

Rai also acquired the rights to the Primavera TIM Cup, the national U-21 Cup, as well as the Primavera TIM Supercup, between the last winners of the championship and the cup. These agreements also cover the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons.
