Eleven Sports: Pedro Pinto (POR, former UEFA director) appointed non-executive director in Portugal

Portugal's Pedro Pinto (43), former director of communications at UEFA (March 2017 - February 2018), has been appointed non-executive director of the British audio-visual group Eleven Sports in Portugal, on 10/07/2018.

Pedro Pinto held various positions in the UEFA communications department between January 2014 and February 2018, having served as TV presenter and correspondent for several audiovisual groups including: CNN (August 1998 - August 2003 and November 2006 - August 2013), Sport TV (October 2003 - November 2006) and Radio-Television du Portugal (January 1996 - July 1998).

Eleven Sports acquired for the 2018-2021 cycle, the exclusive broadcast rights in Portugal of the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, LaLiga Santander (on 29/05/2018), Ligue 1 Conforama, the Coupe de la Ligue and the Trophée des Champions (on 14/06/2018), as well as the rights to the Bundesliga and DFL-Supercup (on 19/06/2018) for the 2019-2021 cycle, and the Jupiler Pro League, Belgian Supercup and Ladbrokes Premiership for the 2018-2020 cycle (on 19/06/2018).
