Premier League: Kohler (plumbing products) becomes sleeve sponsor of Manchester United from 2018-19

Kohler, an American manufacturing company specialising in plumbing fixtures, bathroom and kitchen products, engines and generators, and is also active in the hotel and hospitality sector, has become the shirt sleeve sponsor Manchester United FC (Premier League) from 2018-19, on 12/07/2018. The exact duration of the "multi-year" contract has not been specified.

Kohler becomes a principal partner of global status, the first level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the club. The annual value of the partnership is estimated at £10m (€11.3m on 12/07/2018) by British media.

The Premier League decided, on 10/11/2016, to allow its clubs to market the shirt sleeve sponsor space from the 2017-18 season. Manchester United were one of three Premier League clubs (with Tottenham Hotspur FC and Arsenal FC) to not to have a sleeve sponsor in 2017-18. The club had negotiated a £15m-£20m partnership with the dating application Tinder, without reaching an final agreement, according to British media reports.
