2018 World Cup: Luca Modric (CRO) adidas Golden Ball, Kylian Mbappé (FRA) elected FIFA Young Player

Croatian Luca Modric was presented with the "adidas Golden Ball" award as best player, and French international Kylian Mbappé was named "FIFA Young Player" as the best young player, two of the five major categories awarded by the FIFA Technical Study Group (TSG), at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow (RUS) on 15/07/2018.

These awards were made public after the final of the XXI World Cup, won by France versus Croatia (4-2).
