Serie A / Serie BKT: Mediaset signs a distribution agreement with Perform (DAZN) in Italy

The private Italian audiovisual group Mediaset has signed an agreement to distribute, in Italy, DAZN, the OTT sports platform of Perform, a British group specialised in the production and distribution of sports content on digital platforms, on 16/07/2018. The agreement will become effective on 01/08/2018.

Perform acquired the rights to broadcast 114 of the 380 Serie A games (three per matchday, see below), in Italy, over the 2018-2021 cycle, on 13/06/2018, as well as the broadcasting rights of all 472 games per season, including 428 exclusive Serie BKT matches, during the same period, on 29/06/2018.

Mediaset's "Premium Calcio" pay-TV offer, which will feature DAZN and the channels Eurosport 1 and 2 in addition to its own content, will be sold for €19.99 per month.

• DAZN will be marketed alone at €9.99 per month in Italy.
